musikalischen Avantgarde-Szene: Blixa Bargeld (Einstürzende Neubauten), Caspar

Event and Discussion recorded by BBC
as part of The Spitalfields Summer Festival 2010
'Chris Newman is one of Britain's great all-round artistic talents, famous for his outrageous and hilarious songs, but just as important for his radical take on composition and for his work in the visual arts such as painting and video. Now resident in Berlin, Newman is seldom seen or heard in his native country and we are delighted to welcome him back, together with his recital partner Michael Finnissy and other close collaborators, for an evening of his music, paintings and videos. A special event and not to be missed.’
